BSF Events, Services and Fundraisers
Ongoing:
Bridger Bowl License Plates
The
proceeds from these license plates actually go to BSF! Motorists pay $25 for
the first year and $10 annually thereafter for these custom plates. BSF receives
$10 yearly for each set of plates to support its programs.
2007-2008 Season
Ski Team Registration Nights:
Freestyle Team - October 4th, 7:00pm at the Bozeman Public Library.
Alpine Team - October 8th, 7:00pm at RightNow Technologies (Info, sign-up,
swap).
Nordic Team - October 17th, 7:00pm at the Bozeman Public Library.
BSF Chili Feed
Lindley Park Center, Oct. 10th, 5:30-8:00pm
BSF Ski Swap
Gallatin County Fairgrounds, November 2nd, 3rd, 4th.
Items are sold on consignment, with a percent of proceeds going to BSF.
Nordic Auction
Rockin' TJ Ranch, October 27th. More information here.
BSF Snow Expo
October 19-20th at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds.
Alpine:
Sept. 22nd: Officials Training (Susan Krueger for details; (406) 586-2510).
Sept. 23rd: Northern Division Meeting @ RightNow Technologies (Susan Krueger for details; (406) 586-2510).
Oct. 8th: Alpine Info Meeting, Signup, and Swap @ RightNow Technologies 7-9pm.
Oct. 10th: Last day to buy Big Sky Frequent Skier Cards @ $35.
Oct. 18th: PhD night.
Nov. 13th: YSL Signup @ BSF Office 7-8:30pm.
Community Races
The Alpine, Freestyle and Nordic teams sponsor non-sanctioned races for the community to get involved. Nordic sponsors the Jim Bridger Trail Run and the Make It Hurt on the Dirt summer duathlon.
Adopt-a-Highway
The Alpine, Freestyle and Nordic teams pick up litter along an area of Bridger Canyon Road.
Sweet Pea Festival
The Alpine and Nordic teams operate food booths at the annual festival in August to raise money for the teams.
4th of July Fireworks
The Alpine and Freestyle teams operate fireworks stands around the 4th of July to raise money for their teams.
Banff/Telluride/Radical Reels Film Festivals
The Nordic Team sponsors annual film festivals with a variety of adventure sport films to support its team.
Christmas Stroll
The Nordic Team sells food to promote its programs at this annual holiday event.
